Use Case: Implementation of the plant control system for DT power plants with a total capacity of 1950 MW
Project overview
Greiner implemented the electrical infrastructure for three power plants in Egypt, each with a capacity of 650 MW (a total of 1950 MW). For these important power plants, Greiner took over the production, supply and installation of 150 fields of Motor Control Centers (MCC) based on the GENIMOD® product series to ensure reliable and efficient control of the electrical systems.
Challenge
The three power plants in Egypt are part of important energy supply facilities and therefore require a particularly robust and reliable electrical infrastructure. The high temperatures, dusty environmental conditions and the need for continuous maintenance also place the highest demands on the maintainability and reliability of the system.
