Versions:

  • GEMIS® 12 / 24 kV – Standard Configurations with Circuit Breakers
  • GEMIS® double busbar – for increased network flexibility
  • GEMIS® 24/20 – particularly compact, with fixed mounting and switch disconnector

Technical Highlights:

  • Rated voltage: 12–24 kV
  • Rated current: up to 2500 A
  • Surge current resistance: up to 31.5 kA (3s)
  • Degree of protection: IP4X
  •  Arc Qualification: IAC FLR 25–31.5 kA, 1s
  • Operating Availability: LSC2b

GEMIS® Double Busbar – Ideal for Operation

If you need to supply a large number of load centers with high power requirements safely and stably, you can rely on the GEMIS® with double busbar. It offers you exceptional network flexibility and of course also meets all standard standards necessary for safe and standard-compliant operation, such as sprinkler and arc fault tests.

GEMIS® 24/20 – Compact and high-performance system for local substations

The newly developed system concept based on IEC 62271-200 is particularly characterized by its space-saving design, which nevertheless offers maximum flexibility. We deliver the GEMIS® 24/20 to you ready for use and adapted to your needs – low-maintenance and, of course, with a high level of Personal safety and operational availability.

GENIMOD® – For combined low- and medium-voltage solutions

While GEMIS® covers the medium-voltage range, the GENIMOD® system allows the combination with motor control centers (MCC) and low-voltage switchgear. Ideal for companies that need an end-to-end energy solution – from 400 V to 24 kV.

Technically well thought-out – modular design

Our medium-voltage switchboards typically consist of:

  • Busbar room
  • Pressure relief channel (optionally equipped)
  • Low-voltage chamber (optionally variably equipped)
  • Circuit breaker or switch disconnector room
  • Cable connection room – easy to install & prepared for all cable systems

The modular design allows for flexible field sequence and easy later expansions without compromising operational reliability. Our service team will be happy to help you with this. For more information on the construction method, please contact us or request our current brochure free of charge.

Medium-voltage systems from Greiner – Safe, modular, future-proof

Our air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear is a central element of modern energy infrastructure and offers maximum safety, high efficiency and flexible integration into existing energy systems. They reliably protect against grid disturbances, enable precise control and are designed for the requirements of decentralized energy generation and Industry 4.0.

As a partner, we accompany you from planning to installation and commissioning to maintenance – with in-depth know-how, certified quality and a holistic service approach.

The GEMIS® medium voltage switchgear consists of galvanized, stably folded steel sheets in a torsion-resistant screw construction.

Typical areas of application for our high-quality medium-voltage systems:

  • GEMIS® series for power distributions in the pure medium voltage range up to 24 kV
  • Local Network Stations & Transformer Stations
  • Power distribution in industrial plants
  • Large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g. hospitals, data centres, airports)
  • Renewable energy plants (solar parks, wind turbines)
  • Commercial properties with self-sufficiency

Efficient medium-voltage switchgear for grid operators, industry and renewable energies

Greiner offers a versatile portfolio of air-insulated medium-voltage systems based on GEMIS,® which have been specially developed for the requirements of local grid, focus and substation stations, secondary energy distributions, decentralized generators and industrial infrastructures.

Our systems are characterized by their compact design, high personal safety and low operating costs thanks to low-maintenance technology. Instead of potentially dangerous and environmentally harmful sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆), we use air-insulated systems – resource-saving, future-proof, environmentally friendly and proven for decades.
